Successfully started! When I came to the "commission" this morning, as we call our clubhouse during the competitions, because the sports commission is temporarily based here and they told me "write on the web that we are building the grid at RWY 22", I thought they were just making fun. It wouldn't be the first time. Similar jokes are on a daily basis here. The atmosphere and mood are great here every year. This is actually the main reason why I spend here every year almost 2 weeks in a row. The sky was completely covered with heavy, dark clouds, and I wouldn't even think of opening a hangar. The truth is that looking at satellite images usually gives you a better and more global view of the current situation as just a look out of the the window. Although there are also situations when it's exactly the opposite :) In short, I think a few contestants were also surprised when we called them to build a grid and invited for a briefing at 10:00. We postponed the start scheduled for 12:00 only by 15 minutes and exactly 39 minutes later all the competitors were already in the air. The prediction that the weather will be "applicable" to the competition discipline is valid for now. We hope that it will be the same for the next 2 hours and the competitors will arrive back to the airport Prievidza - Bojnice without any problems :)
Startline for the combi class will be opened at 13:14
Club class is completely in the air. The start will be opened at 12:48
Take-offs started right in time! 12:15
The start is postponed to 12:15
Good morning! Surprise, surprise :) Grid on RWY 22
