Yesterday, in the afternoon, a collision between two gliders occurred over Borišov in the Veľká Fatra mountains, in the Martin district. Right after we were notified of the accident, we promptly contacted the Search and Rescue.

Based on a report from the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service crew, we were informed that one of the pilots unfortunately did not survive. One pilot was hospitalized, while another has no injuries.

All remaining competitors gradually returned to Prievidza Airport.
